Miller High Life Pressed a Vinyl Record… Filled With Actual Beer

We’ve seen a lot of brand stunts. But this one? This one’s fizzy, nostalgic, and just the right amount of unhinged.

To celebrate Record Store Day, Miller High Life pressed a vinyl record filled with actual beer. Yes, a physical LP, filled with real Miller High Life. And yes, it plays music. And yes, we have questions.

The Champagne of Beers meets the vinyl revival

The 10-inch beer-filled record is more than a gimmick. Dubbed “Dive Bar Sounds,” the limited edition vinyl record brings to life seven original tracks composed from typical dive bar sounds: the clinking of bottles, the creak of the door, the click of the jukebox, and the buzz of neon lights. All of it is subtly blended with samples of Miller High Life’s iconic jingle.

Only 200 copies were made, and were available exclusively for pre-order via the Miller High Life website.

So… how?

Each disc is made from a transparent, double-layered material that traps actual Miller High Life between the grooves. Think lava lamp energy, but cooler. According to the press release, it was a “technical challenge” to make something that wouldn’t leak, explode, or ruin your turntable. We’re glad they took that personally.

Why this works

Let’s be real: most brand collabs try too hard. This one gets it.

It taps into the vinyl renaissance without pretending to be too hip. It keeps things light, ironic, and very on-brand for a beer that’s always positioned itself as the everyman’s celebration drink. It’s not trying to make you think, it’s trying to make you smile.

And sometimes, that’s enough.
