Meta is improving Creator Studio options, adding Story Highlight Clips for video uploads and a new published post view option for Pages.
With the new Story Highlight Clips option, users can preview a 20-second segment from their full video before posting it as a Story on either Facebook, Instagram, or both. This option allows users to draw viewers’ attention towards their full clips by sharing a shorter video highlight clip of their Story.
To find, and make use of, this new feature, users can access Creator Studio, where their upload will automatically extract a preview segment from the full video. The next step will be to move around the segment selection to preview and post the clip on their Story.
The shorter clip will be published with a “See More” CTA button at the bottom of the Stories panel, and when users respond to the CTA on the teaser clip, they will be taken to see the full video.
A second addition to Creator Studio is a timeline view for published Page posts in the app. The new feature allows for more transparency on how posts end up appearing in user feeds. It adds a further option to the ones found on the Page management panel of the Facebook Page app – next to the existing editing, previewing, and customization options.
