KFC is no stranger to fun marketing activations. And this time, you can even get yourself a piece of it (pun intended.) With agency Edelman, KFC has finally solved the eternal struggle of holding a bucket of your favorite deep-fried chicken when it gets cold outside.
The Finger-Lickin’ Chicken Mitten Bucket Hugger, a holiday sweater designed to fit the signature bucket, will not only keep your chicken warm, but will also take good care of your hands with its built-in mittens.
From November 9 to 11, or at least until the product is sold out, customers who order a qualifying KFC bucket meal via the brand’s website or app will have a chance to claim a free Finger-Lickin’ Chicken Mitten Bucket Hugger which will be mailed out in December, arriving in time for the holidays.
To celebrate the Holidays, even more, KFC worked with Wieden+Kennedy Portland to launch a special-edition holiday bucket design that will be available nationwide.
