iOS 13 could be introduced to the iPhone and iPad soon and it will come with some exciting new features, including universal dark mode.
Every time Apple is about to upgrade its OS, rumors come and go. However, the latest report from the very serious 9to5mac, shows that new iOS will introduce many new features, including universal dark mode, new gestures and visual changes.
Universal dark mode seems to be the sexiest new feature. It will allow you to turn on a system-wide dark mode option in Settings, forcing all apps that support it to switch to dark mode the next time you launch them.
The other big new feature concerns the iPad exclusively. With iOS 13 you will be able to open multiple windows of the same app, with the ability to move, stack or dismiss each window.
New gestures will also be introduced. For example, there will be no more “shaking your phone” to undo an action, instead Apple will introduce a three-finger swipe to undo and redo an action.
Of course, iOS 13 is still being developed and many surprises could still make their way to the final version.
