With the new Instagram Group Fundraisers, people can unite for a cause. 100% of the funds will go directly to the nonprofits.
Instagram says that group fundraisers are built to bring the same sense of community that people find in activities such as bake sales, concerts, and walk-a-thons, helping them unite and rally around a single cause they care about.

Starting a group fundraiser is very easy on the Instagram app. Start with tapping on the create icon (+) like for any other type of posts you would be looking to share on the platform. Select “Post” and choose an image that represents the cause you want to support. Then tap on “Add Fundraiser” to select the nonprofit organization you wish to raise money for. Finally, add details to your post and share the fundraiser.
You can then invite others to join by tapping the “Share” button on the fundraiser page, followed by “Invite Group Members.”
Instagram added that 100% of the funds raised for nonprofits go directly to those organizations.
