Great news for people who want to Tweet high-res images! Twitter has announced that you can now post and view 4K images on Android and iOS.
In March, Twitter announced the test of a new feature that lets you upload and view 4K images on Android and iOS. As of last week, the feature is now live, officially bringing high-res uploads and viewing to the mobile apps.

Twitter‘s browser version already supports high-resolution images at up to 4096 x 4096 pixels, but the app on mobile devices has always been limited to half that. The recent update changes that.
Time to Tweet those high res pics –– the option to upload and view 4K images on Android and iOS is now available for everyone.
To start uploading and viewing images in 4K, update your high-quality image preferences in “Data usage” settings. https://t.co/XDnWOji3nx
