The trending topics feed on Facebook is a pretty good way to stay updated with what’s happening around you, but it can also be pretty useless. So what if you’d like to make it more useful for your everyday life? Fluffblocker lets you customise Facebook’s trending topics!

Fluff blocker – an extension on Chrome lets you replace Facebook’s trending topics with an RSS feed of your choice. It will only replace the Top Trends and not the other sections – Science, Politics, or Technology. All you have to do is download it and then you can choose to replace the feed with one of your liking.
If you like our stories, there is an easy way to stay updated:

When you start, there is a range of RSS feeds that you can choose from, but you can also choose your favourite RSS feed. If you’re not so keen on news from the Guardian, NPR, BBC, The Onion or The Washington Post, just switch.
Of course this will only work in Google Chrome – obviously. So, you might have to switch to that browser indefinitely.
