What are tvOS and watchOS 2 SDKs? First of all, tvOS is an innovative TV platform that helps developers deliver immersive and interactive games and apps on Apple TV. Moreover, the tvOS toolbox takes advantage of the new Apple TV Remote featuring a touch surface, built-in accelerometer, and gyroscope.
The watchOS 2 SDK refers to the updated operating systems that runs on Apple Watch devices and helps users further customise their devices and communicate in many more ways with the apps. With Facebook‘s SDK for watchOS 2, developers can build apps that take advantage of Apple Watch’s accelerometer, heart rate sensor and Taptic Engine, to name just a few.
As Nikita Lutsenko, Software Engineer at Parse, states in the announcement:
We are excited to bring the Parse SDK to more platforms than ever, and especially to see what you build for the big screen with Apple TV and for the Apple Watch!
Both new SDKs and the updated Facebook integration library are available on GitHub.
