Workplace by Facebook no longer requires a company email addresses to sign up. Now, anyone with an employee ID can get full access to Workplace Premium.
If you are using Workplace to help your employees connect with each other and get more engaged with your business, then this new feature will help you do that even more.
Until now everyone needed to use a company email to sign up for their company’s Facebook Workplace domain. But this is changing with the new administrator feature which will let companies grant full access to the platform using only an employee ID, as reported by Adweek.
This is part of the rollout of several new features including the ability to find co-workers faster via a more sophisticated search function, greater control for workplace system admins, and enhanced personal fields.
WorkPlace by Facebook has seen stead growth over the past months:
Julien Codorniou, VP at Workplace by Facebook, added: “More than 30,000 companies are using Workplace by Facebook around the world – across every industry and in every region. This includes retail, technology, telecommunications, financial services, media, entertainment, food & beverage, transportation, real estate, utilities, shipping and more.”
