According to reports, Facebook is testing a new “Keyword Alerts” feature for Group admins and moderators.
With Facebook Groups becoming bigger every day, it’s becoming more and more difficult for their admins and moderators to manage everything that’s going on within them. In a bid to help them out, Facebook is working on a new feature that would alert them when a Group member users a specific word, phrase, or name.
The new “Keyword Alerts” feature was spotted and announced this week by well-known social media feature tipster Jane Manchun Wong, who rightly explained that when rolled out it “will be super useful for those who moderate large groups.” Yes, it will. Especially the rowdy ones!

Surely this feature will help admins and moderators do a better job at keeping their Groups clean, but people are tricky, and anyone who’s moderated an online community knows this.
So, even if Facebook launches this feature, will it be effective?
