There’s a new way to poll your friends on Instagram Stories. Emoji Sliders let you ask and answer questions with an animated emoji on a sliding scale.
Who said polls have to be boring? The new Emoji Sliders are a great way to engage your friends on Instagram by letting them “vote” using a sliding scale instead of a YES/NO type question. This way you can know ask “how much” instead of just “what.”
On top of it all, the emoji will animate as you drag it up or down the scale. Each answer will cumulate to show the average of all responses, but you can also see the individual response from each of your followers.
To start an Emoji Slider poll, simply select it from the Sticker menu when creating an Instagram Story (where you also find the other options like location or the YES/NO type polls). Write a question and choose the emoji you would like to use. You can choose any emoji that’s available from your phone’s library.
I have already tested it, and it really triggers more interesting responses that the other poll type.
