Casio G-SHOCK has announced the GA900 series – a line-up of extra-tough watch models that are scheduled to roll out later this month.
G-SHOCK watches are tough, really tough. For most people, they are pretty much indestructible. But that hasn’t stopped the watch brand from announcing a new line-up of heavy-duty models that are as perfect for the difficult environments you frequent in, as they are for your streetwear style.
The three rugged new watches in the G900 line-up all feature a 10-sided bezel secured by four screws, resembling “the shape of an industrial fastener.” They are waterproof up to 200 meters and have 7-year battery life.

They also feature easily-readable analog hands alongside a digital display for “combination timekeeping” and utmost “operational ease.” The band connection itself – and all buttons – have checkered surfaces to prevent any slipping.
The three models of the G-SHOCK GA900 series come with resin or cloth bands in three colorways. The GA-900E (the most expensive of the three) comes with both a black resin band and a cloth band that is interwoven with highly visible reflective yellow material.
The GA900 series will retail from $120 to $160 when they launch later this month. You can find out more information and sign up to be notified when they are available, here.
