Last week, Beats announced another addition to its Studio Buds lineup – the powerful Beats Studio Buds+.
The new generation of Beats’ Studio Buds is here, with upgraded Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes, an impressive 36-hour battery life, and IPX4 sweat and water resistance. Welcome the Beats Studio Buds+, a pair of wireless earbuds offering enhanced features for iOS and Android users.

The latest installment of the Studio Buds lineup promises improved audio precision and balanced sound performance, offering very low distortion and cleaner bass. The buds are also allegedly a more comfortable fit for most ears, with four size options for ear tips – XS, S, M, and L. You can also get them in three colors – black, ivory, and transparent.
If you’re into spatial audio, you’re in luck – Studio Buds+ will automatically play spatial audio for any available tracks on Apple Music that were recorded using Dolby Atmos tech. Beats say the experience is like being surrounded by 64 speakers simultaneously.
Furthermore, Beats also promises better in-call performance, with three times larger microphones than their predecessors and an intelligent voice-targeting algorithm to filter out notice and enhance a speaker’s voice.
Compatibility
The Studio Buds+ also offers enhanced compatibility with both Apple and Android devices.
With Apple devices, you get one-touch pairing, a “Hey Siri” prompt, Find My compatibility, and over-the-air updates for new firmware and features.
With Android devices, you get Google Fast Pair, Audio Switch (the ability to switch audio between Android, Chromebook, and other compatible devices), Find My Device compatibility, and access to the Beats app to unlock product customizations, software updates, and new features.
Beats Studio Buds + is available to order for $169.99 (US) from Amazon or directly on apple.com in the US, Canada, and China.
