Another collaboration between adidas and The Muppets: A Kermit the Frog Stan Smith, because “It’s not easy being green.”
A new collaborative shoe is in the works around a year after The Muppets started collaborating with adidas on special edition products. The release which should drop within the next few months will involve a Kermit the Frog Stan Smith, in the shoe’ classic White and Green. The “Green”, however, will be lighter to reflect it’s mascot’s color.

Heel tabs and tongue portraits will also get the same shade of green, while the rest of the shoe will be white leather and details to match. Also, Kermit himself graces the shoe, appearing with crossed arms just above the midsole adidas branding. A “KERMIT” text appears to the right of the third stripe on the side.
Finally, “It’s not easy being green” is stitched on the heel tabs where the “Stan Smith” wording usually goes.
The Kermit the Frog x adidas Originals Stan Smith should be released within the next few months and available at some retailers and adidas.com. Retail price? Around $90.
