Adobe just gave its viral Creative Types quiz a glow-up and it might be the most poetic branding move we’ve seen this year.
Originally launched in 2019, the quiz was designed to help people explore their creative personality through beautifully animated visuals and psychology-inspired questions. Now, in its fourth evolution, Adobe has introduced eight new Creative Types, each one reflecting the emotional, social, and imaginative layers of what it means to be a creator today.
Meet the New Creative Types:
- The Strategist – grounded, intentional, clarity-seeker
- The Regenerator – healing, evolving, creating from disruption
- The Luminary – expressive, inspiring, emotionally resonant
- The Catalyst – restless, energetic, thrives on momentum
- The Gardener – nurturing, patient, grows ideas with care
- The Guide – wise, empathetic, bridges people and ideas
- The Alchemist – intuitive, mystical, transforms the ordinary
- The Architect – systems thinker, visionary, builder of futures
(Check each of them in details here.)
Each profile comes with its own immersive visual identity and insight into your strengths, creative flow, and how you collaborate best.
“We believe everyone is creative,” Adobe says — and this quiz turns that belief into a beautifully interactive statement.

In a world where creativity is both more accessible and more complex than ever, shaped by burnout, AI, hybrid work, and shifting cultural dynamics, this isn’t just a fun branding exercise. It’s a mirror.
The updated types reflect how we work, not just how we create. There’s space for structure and softness, for wild energy and steady growth. There’s even a little magic (looking at you, Alchemist).
And yes, your entire team should take it and talk about it in Slack.
