From October 28, users in the United States will be able to pay a monthly membership of $9.99 to get the “ultimate YouTube experience”. Enter, YouTube Red. You can watch videos on YouTube without the ads, save videos for offline viewing, as well as play videos in the background.

However, it doesn’t end there. Your membership doesn’t stop with YouTube Red, it actually works across devices and anywhere you sign into YouTube, including the Gaming and YouTube Music apps.

YouTube Music, an app that Google is also announcing these days. It is designed “to make discovering, watching and listening to music easier than ever.”
YouTube Red will also give you access to Google Play Music – Google’s answer to Spotify.

In January 2016, YouTube Redwill become a Netflix of sorts, with new original shows and movies created by YouTube’s top content creators.
