I don’t understand. Have you all not grown up watching the same movies I did? Because if you did, you’d know that teaching robots to fight is a bad bad idea.
Well the folks at Unitree don’t think it’s a problem. They have just released a video of there new advanced G1 robot pulling some kung fu moves, fighting a real human – *sighs*

Shared on Tuesday, the 15-second clip shows a baton-wielding human retreating from a robot that then kicks the baton clean out of his hand. Let’s just say that again: a baton-wielding human retreating from a robot.
What’s next? Hopefully we will also create a new format of the Olympics for these robots to compete with each other AND NOT train more to be law enforcement or some other crazy idea like, you know, TERMINATOR.
The uprising has already started. And we are doomed.
