We already knew that walks (or runs) are good for the soul and making new connections.. Well know, they can help you find your soulmate. Tinder UK  has partnered with Strava to launch the “Tinder Solemates Challenge”. It’s a pretty simple and straightforward idea: what if running or going for a hike was the best way to meet new people that fit your lifestyle and expectations?

From April 19th to May 17th, participants could join the challenge by recording at least 21km (13.1 miles) of walking or running with one or more people. Participation was recorded by tagging other people and completing the challenge on Strava. To be considered a valid entry, users had to tag Tinder Solemates Run Club in their posts.

But finding your potential solemate was not the only incentive. Tinder also offered prizes to make your new dating life more exciting:

  • a £200 Runlimited voucher for you and your Solemate, plus a year of Tinder Gold.
  • a £150 date night voucher for amie wine studio, plus a year of Tinder Gold.
  • a £150 restaurant voucher for any Big Mamma Group venue, plus a year of Tinder Gold.
  • 10 sessions at Community Sauna Baths (worth £165), plus a year of Tinder Gold.

Plus, let’s face it, nothing can go wrong here: worst case scenario you may rediscover your love for jogging.
