TikTok Rolls Out In-App Scheduling for Posts

TikTok is making it even easier for creators to plan their content, quietly adding a new scheduling option directly within its post composer.

As spotted by app researcher Radu Oncescu, the latest version of the app now includes a “Schedule post” feature alongside your usual creation tools. This means you can select the exact date and time for your post to go live, all without leaving the app.

While TikTok has offered scheduling before through tools like TikTok Studio, its desktop video scheduler, or third-party platforms, bringing this feature into the composer streamlines the workflow for busy creators. It’s one less step, and one more way to keep your content strategy organized.

Does it really matter when you post? Arguably, the TikTok algorithm already does much of the heavy lifting, pushing your content to audiences when they’re most likely to engage. But for creators who prefer a little more control, timing still plays a role, especially when campaigns, brand partnerships, or audience insights demand precision.

If you’re keen to make the most of this, combine it with data from TikTok Studio’s analytics to check when your audience is most active. Then schedule your posts accordingly, all from within the app.

A small update, but for creators who like to stay ahead of the game, a pretty handy one.
