TikTok has introduced a new customizable shopping ad display option to streamline the customer journey for users.
Late last month, TikTok introduced a new way to maximize business engagement and provide revenue opportunities to creators in its app.
In a post on the official TikTok for Business blog, TikTok announced a new “Instant Page” shopping display option that will allow brands to connect their ads to a lightweight mobile landing page. The landing page is integrated within TikTok and simplified so that it loads up to 11 times faster than standard mobile sites.

According to the announcement, Instant Pages allow users to “view videos and images, swipe through carousels, or click on buttons to explore another destination – all without leaving the TikTok app.”
Like Facebook’s Instant Articles, TikTok’s new Instant Pages allow users to build content in-app with no need to link to external sites.
Businesses can set up an Instant Page on TikTok as the destination link for a campaign built in TikTok Ads Manager. The Instant Page builder tool is embedded within the ad creation flow, and users can even select a template from a range, including “Products for sale,” “Brand story,” “Introduction & Brand pitch,” and “Movie trailer.”
The flexible customization process allows marketers to add videos, carousels, product display elements, coupons, and more. In addition, the easy-to-use drag-and-drop module enables users to create bespoke page layouts and content without relying on technical teams.
To maximize results, the tool offers the ability to optimize conversions that occur on the Instant Page and use TikTok Pixel to enhance delivery optimization on the business’s site. According to TikTok, these features allow businesses to “drive up to 40% lower cost per action when optimizing towards conversions that occur on your Instant Page.”
Instant Pages are also convenient since they can be saved to the TikTok ad library and added to multiple campaigns.
TikTok is still testing the feature; however, it’s now becoming available to customers via TikTok sales reps.
