Spotify is giving parents more control, and a cleaner “Wrapped.”
The streaming platform is rolling out managed accounts for Premium Family subscribers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

The feature, first piloted last year, lets parents create separate, music-only profiles for kids under 13,complete with explicit-content filters, artist blocking, and restricted features like messaging or videos.
Unlike the standalone Spotify Kids app, these managed accounts live inside the main Spotify experience, allowing parents to curate what their children can listen to without wrecking their own recommendations.
That means your Discover Weekly and Wrapped playlists will finally stay safe from hours of K-Pop Demon Hunters or Cocomelon.
Premium Family users (six accounts for $19.99/month) can set one up under Add a Member → “Add a listener aged under 13.”
