Rakuten Viber and Synctuition have announced a partnership aimed at supporting the fight against mental health struggles.
Mental health has taken a hit during the global pandemic, so Rakuten Viber is looking to support users and their mental health with new positivity-boosting features on its messaging platform, powered by Synctuition’s mindfulness app – which offers a “unique” and “rich 3D audio relaxation experience.”

As part of the partnership with Rakuten Viber, Synctuition created a series of “dream-like soundscapes by recording 3D sounds in over 2000 of the world’s most serene locations,” which are then combined with ASMR sounds and music.
On Viber, users will be able to use meditation-themed stickers that provide direct access to an exclusive chatbot that helps them spread positivity.
“Many people don’t have access to these tools,” explains Anna Znamenskaya, CGO of Rakuten Viber. “Daily messages of positivity and access to the Synctuition app will surely help create healthier habits.”
The effects of COVID-19 on mental health are being felt more and more, so it’s great to see tech companies trying to make a difference.
