PlayStation x Reebok: A Sneaker Capsule Celebrating 30 Years of Gaming

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, PlayStation isn’t just looking back at its history, it’s stepping into streetwear. The brand has teamed up with Reebok to launch a sneaker capsule inspired by the original PlayStation console, turning three of Reebok’s most iconic silhouettes into retro-futuristic collectibles.

Three Classics, Three Regions

The collab reimagines the Workout Plus, Pump Omni Zone II, and InstaPump Fury 94 in the signature grey of the PS1. Each pair nods to a historic launch region:

  • UK – Workout Plus
  • US – Pump Omni Zone II
  • Japan – InstaPump Fury 94

From vintage logos to subtle details like original launch dates printed on the tongues, every design choice celebrates PlayStation’s cultural roots. For die-hard fans, a limited collector’s box set will bundle all three pairs into one exclusive drop.

Prices range from $95 to $250, with the release kicking off in October 2025 at select flagship stores in each region.

More Than Gaming: A Lifestyle Move

By stepping into sneakers, PlayStation joins the ranks of brands that blur the line between gaming, fashion, and lifestyle. The capsule doesn’t just mark an anniversary, it confirms PlayStation’s evolution into a cultural symbol.

A Book for the Archive

Alongside the sneakers, PlayStation will also release “PlayStation: The First 30 Years”, a 400-page art book featuring rare prototypes, sketches, and photography by Benedict Redgrove. A Deluxe edition (limited to 1,994 copies) will ship in Spring 2026, giving fans a collectible to pair with their sneakers.
