Netflix may be amongst the most digitally and social media-savvy brands out there and not afraid to show it. The streaming service recently took over the streets of Paris with a brilliant guerrilla-marketing Snapchat campaign.
Netflix installed a series of banners throughout the french capital, but instead sticking to traditional techniques, the brand actually asked passersby to interact with the billboards on Snapchat. The billboards show the most prominent characters in all of Netflix’s series, and include CTAs that invite Parisians to interact and casually faceswap with them.
In case you’re not planning to visit Paris in the near future, don’t worry. You can still face swap with your favourite Netflix characters from the comfort of your sofa. Just tune in to your Netflix show of preference and faceswap along!
