The new Meta Quest subscription will give you access to the top titles on the device every month. It costs $7.99 per month, or $59.99 annually.
The launch was confirmed by Mark Zuckerberg on his IG broadcast channel. The Meta Quest+ subscription is available for Quest 2, Pro and soon Quest 3.
The first games included in the VR subscription are the action-rhythm game FPS Pistol Whip and the arcade adventure game Pixel Ripped 1995. In August, players will get to experience two new games, Walkabout Mini Golf and Mothergunship: Forge. All the titles will remain accessible in your game library, as long as you remain subscribed to Meta Quest+.
Meta wrote in its announcement: “Subscription services have been a great way to get more bang for your buck as far back as the Blockbuster days. And at a monthly value of up to $60 USD, Meta Quest+ combines affordability with the convenience of a curated experience. We’re excited to give gamers on Meta Quest a new way to explore all their headsets have to offer.”
As part of the Meta Quest subscription, users that sign up now through July 31 will only pay $1 for the first month.
