LinkedIn has announced the launch of a new range of accredited courses to help marketers showcase their expertise.
LinkedIn last week announced a new certification program within its Marketing Labs. Individuals who pass the exams are awarded credentials that can be shared on their LinkedIn profiles.
The new program, which is currently available and free of charge, enables individuals to take certification exams to demonstrate their proficiencies and showcase their LinkedIn marketing expertise to distinguish themselves in an increasingly popular industry.

The program offers two courses with two degrees of difficulty and a final 60-minute multiple-choice test before validating the marketer’s proficiency with the appropriate badge.
With the Fundamentals Certification (Basic), participants can demonstrate their expertise in launching LinkedIn Ad campaigns and tactics. Completing this course certifies the marketer as someone who can successfully run LinkedIn Ad campaigns and, in turn, drive business results.
The Marketing Strategy Certification course, aimed at intermediate-level marketers, allows users to showcase their expertise in leveraging LinkedIn Ads for full-funnel strategies, including Brand Awareness and Lead Generation. Certified marketers will be LinkedIn vetted professionals to create marketing strategies that leverage the full suite of LinkedIn marketing tools.
After completing the free certification process, users will receive a credential on their profile, highlighting their knowledge as a B2B marketing expert within the world’s largest professional network.
Other platforms which have announced certification programs previously include Snapchat and Facebook.
