More company pages can now get verified on LinkedIn, as long as you’re paying for a premium plan ($99/month.)
Last August, LinkedIn introduced company page verification with only a limited number of brands able to get the new shield-and-tick icon. The idea: help companies look more legitimate, combat fakers, and provide users with added reassurance when engaging with brands.

Now, LinkedIn is expanding access. Earlier this month, the platform confirmed that all brands signed up to a Premium Company Page plan (around $99/month) are eligible for a verification badge. That’s a big step, though still far from universal access, given the cost.
And the rollout doesn’t stop there. On its Help page, LinkedIn quietly outlined the next phase of the process, noting that eligible pages will soon see a “Request Verification” option in their desktop settings.
Eligibility will be based on factors like:
- Meaningful engagement (posting regularly, responding to members
- An established commercial relationship with LinkedIn (using Ads, Jobs, or a Premium Company Page subscription)
With more than 60 million businesses on LinkedIn, scaling verification is no small task, especially as the platform is handling all checks internally. But expect more verified ticks to appear over time as LinkedIn expands access step by step.
For now, if your business is active on LinkedIn and invests in its tools, you may want to check your settings to see if you’re next in line.
“Pages that are eligible for verification will see the option to request verification in the ‘Settings’ page from the desktop experience. Eligibility may be based on meaningful engagement with LinkedIn, such as posting regularly, or responding to members, as well as having an established commercial relationship with LinkedIn. This could include, but is not limited to, using LinkedIn recurring commercial products like Ads, Jobs, or a Premium Company Page subscription.”
