True Love Tinder Robot is here to save you from the time and disappointment that a bad Tinder choice can have on you. Developed by Nicole He, a graduate student at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, this robot has the ultimate formula to help you find your match on the platform.
The criteria that facilitate the decision between swipe to the left or right is your sweat. Literally. More specifically, the robot measures your galvanic skin response on your hands, and decides accordingly. The galvanic skin response is an old – and unreliable may we add – way to see how conductive your skin is. In case you didn’t know it already, sweat can change the galvanic response, so the more sweaty your hands are, the most likely to get matched with a specific Tinder profile.
All you have to do is place your hands on the conductive mat and let the robot guide you through the rest, with its soft, soothing voice.. Enjoy more details in the video that follows.
