Krispy Kreme Unveils Harry Potter Donuts Inspired by the Hogwarts Houses

Krispy Kreme has just launched a new collection of donuts inspired by the magical world of Harry Potter, with each creation paying tribute to the iconic Hogwarts houses.

Developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, the campaign transforms a sweet indulgence into a fully immersive wizarding experience, the kind that wouldn’t feel out of place in the Great Hall itself.

Available from August 18 in select shops across the U.S. and Canada, the “Houses of Hogwarts” collection features five limited-edition donuts, each themed around Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw, plus a special surprise from the Sorting Hat.

Gryffindor goes bold with a cookie butter–filled donut, topped with red icing, Biscoff crumble, and a golden drizzle.

Slytherin channels sophistication with green icing, swirls of chocolate cream, and crunchy cookie sugar.

Hufflepuff leans into sweetness with a buttery toffee cream filling under bright yellow icing.

Ravenclaw keeps things fresh with blueberry icing and sugar pearls in house colors.

The Sorting Hat donut is perhaps the most inventive: chocolate icing decorated with golden stars, hiding a mystery cream in one of the four house colors, revealing your Hogwarts house in a single bite.

The immersive touch goes beyond the donuts themselves. Each one is packaged in boxes designed to resemble trunks from the Hogwarts Express, and Krispy Kreme even crafted a special drink for the occasion: the Golden Snitch Latte. The caramel-toffee latte comes topped with whipped cream, Biscoff crumble, and sparkling sugar.

And because no wizarding activation is complete without fan participation, Krispy Kreme added a social twist: on August 23, customers who showed up in-store dressed in wizarding attire received a free glazed donut, no purchase required. A clever move that connected the brand directly with Harry Potter fans in the real world.
