KFC Turned Burger Orders into Custom Gaming Keyboards

You’ve seen branded consoles, headsets, even gaming chairs… but what about fried chicken-themed keyboard keys? In a delightfully absurd yet wildly effective campaign, KFC China teamed up with Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) to drop limited-edition keyboard keycaps, with your burger order.

Launched under the “Fortress of Faith” campaign at the end of June, the activation offered customers a set of six custom mechanical keycaps with any Wagyu burger meal—priced around $5.60. The keycaps featured the letters K, F, and C in the brand’s signature red and white, a “CAPS” key with Chinese characters meaning “lock | wagyu,” and two keys displaying the KFC and ROG logos.

Designed to fit Asus NX keyboards (but compatible with most Cherry MX keyboards), the collectible keycaps were a perfect match for gamers obsessed with aesthetics and snacks. Customers also had a chance to win full gaming setups in a special giveaway.

The promo only ran for three days… and, unsurprisingly, the keycaps are already popping up on Chinese resale site Taobao at inflated prices.

Gaming meets fast food. Keyboard becomes collectable. This is brand collab chaos and we’re loving it (or it’s finger lickin’ good?)
