Facebook is introducing new “show more” and “show less” controls to let you adjust what you want to see on your feed.
Meta announced the new feature in a blog post: “By offering more ways to incorporate direct feedback into Feed ranking, we’re making our artificial intelligence systems smarter and more responsive.”

“Show more” and “show less” buttons will soon appear below posts from friends and recommended content on users’ news feeds. Clicking on either will temporarily increase or decrease the ranking of similar content, in turn providing users with a more tailored experience on the platform.
The two buttons will also appear in the three-dot menu on each individual post and in the Feed preferences settings. Facebook said the new feature should be extended to Reels as well in the near future.
These new controls come to complement diverse existing features that allow users to adjust what they see on their Feeds. They will still be able to hide posts and customize their Feed preferences through favorites, snoozing friends, groups, or pages.
