Stickers are spreading on Facebook for iOS. After adding stickers to the main iOS app, Facebook has added them to its stand alone Messenger app today.
Stickers are very popular is Asian messaging apps and this might be seen as a move from Facebook to retain some of its users tempted by new more fun social platforms.Plus, Stickers are a great revenue generator for some companies, even if, currently, the stickers (basically supersized emoji) that Facebook offers are free.
Facebook also added a feature that it previously removed. Once again, Facebook Messenger for iOS users can now delete conversations (not individual messages) with a swipe. Facebook decided to bring this feature back after popular demand.
