Since Facebook rolled out Live to everyone back in February, thousands of users have started live streaming. Today, you can be sure there is always someone streaming, somewhere across the world.
Facebook Live Map allows you to browse and find those streams, at anytime, and anywhere on the planet.
The feature is very similar to what Periscope launched in the past. Every live stream is represented by a blue dot on the map, and scrolling on it will open-up a small preview window.

The Live Map is very useful when it comes to just browsing live streams, instead of waiting for one to pop up in your News Feed.
Live Map has been around for a little while, but Facebook just decided to make it easy to access for everyone, by adding a shortcut in the apps section on the desktop menu. There it is actually called “Live Video.”

Back in April, Facebook rolled out Facebook Live in 60 countries so you know there will always be someone live at anytime of the day.
Live Map is already available in the UK, the US and many other countries, with others coming soon.
