Polls have always been a great way to engage an audience, by asking them to choose between multiple answers to a simple question. They provide rare insight and are rather entertaining for users, essentially because they provide immediate feedback on what others have been answering.
Facebook must have realised that they were a good addition to the whole brand experience on its platform and “Polls” are now back!

As you can see, Polls are easy to embed on other websites as well, just like regular posts. And they remain fully functional too, as people can choose their answer, like, comment or share on the embedded post.

I personally think this is great news for publishers. Polls are an effective means to get readers more involved in the stories they read, and an even better way to get them to share what they read with their friends.
