There is no doubt you have come across some great branded cover photos while surfing on Facebook.
The cover photo on the Facebook timeline is the biggest branding opportunity and the most important piece of imagery for communicating the brand to followers.
First, lets’s look at some great examples from Guiness, Sprite and Philips Home Living:
See how these brands have played with both profile and cover photo to provide a full brand experience? To create a similar experience, make sure your profile picture and cover are part of one same image you will then cut using Photoshop. Also be keep in mind your profile picture will be shown by itself as thumbnail all over facebook, so make sure it remains representative of your brand and that it can be clearly identified by fans!
