Burger King took a jab at Trump on Tuesday, after the President tweeted about all the “hamberders” he bought for the new NCAA champions.
It’s a fact: President Trump loves Twitter. It’s also a fact that he often misspells words when doing so (who does not remember the #covfefe?). On Monday, Trump hosted a diner for the NCAA champions. But because of the government shutdown, he had to serve them fast food he had bought himself. On the menu, pizzas and a lot of “hamberders.”
Of course, Burger King – one of the few fast-food brands represented at the White House diner – almost immediately mocked him for his mistake.
“Due to a large order placed yesterday, we’re all out of hamberders,” the chain tweeted on Tuesday morning. “Just serving hamburgers today.”

The tweet from President Trump was quickly deleted and replaced. But unfortunately for him, nothing ever really disappears on the Internet, as per the below screenshot:
“Great being with the National Champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House. Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamberders etc,” Trump said in the since-deleted tweet.
