Nearly two years after its debut at CES 2024, the Atari Gamestation Go is finally opening preorders, and it’s bringing a whole lot of nostalgia with it.
Priced at $179.99 (slightly higher than the originally promised $149.99), the handheld ships in October 2025 and comes loaded with 200+ preinstalled classics from Atari and Jaleco — plus Pac-Man for good measure.

Where it really stands out is the control setup. Beyond the expected D-pad and buttons, the Gamestation Go packs in:
- A paddle controller
- A trackball
- A numeric keypad
All lit up to let you know which one to use depending on the game, a clever nod to Atari’s quirky early-era peripherals. The device sports a 7-inch display and promises around 4–5 hours of battery life, making it a throwback console you can actually take on the go.
For retro fans, this isn’t just another emulator handheld, it’s a faithful attempt to recreate the feel of playing Atari the way it was meant to be played.
Preorders are now live through My Arcade.
