Apple Music Just Made It Way Easier to Be a DJ

Apple Music is finally doing what DJs have been asking for: it’s opening up its full catalog—yep, all 100 million+ tracks—for mixing inside your favorite DJ tools.

That means if you’re using apps or gear from Serato, Denon DJ, Numark, RANE, or even Algoriddim’s djay Pro, you can now access Apple Music directly within those platforms. No more awkward workarounds or switching services just to play the music you already love.

Apple also  launched a whole “DJ with Apple Music” section inside the app, packed with curated playlists and editor picks specifically designed for mixing.

According to Apple, this move is part of their broader commitment to DJs. (Yes, they have a “Global Head of Dance, Electronic & DJ Mixes.” The title alone slaps.)

But let’s be honest—this is also a smart way for Apple to keep up. SoundCloud’s already doing cool stuff with remix tools. Spotify’s rumored to be working on similar features. So this is Apple’s play to keep creators and curators locked into their ecosystem.
