Banksy revealed his new artwork via his Instagram account. Aachoo!! depicts an elderly woman overtaken by an aggressive sneeze. So intense, that it causes her to lose her denture, seemingly pushed away a bunch of terraced houses – all victims of the “blast.”
Banksy’s Aachoo!! is located on Vale Street, in Bristol, known to be England’s steepest residential road.
According to The Guardian, after finding the artwork on the site of the house where he used to rent a room, a furniture maker decided to protect it and covered Banksy’s work with a large piece of transparent acrylic.
“We wanted to come up because people will deface it, and luckily we’ve got a workshop and a massive piece of acrylic we’ve got left over,” he said. “The artwork is so nice. It’s so relevant, isn’t it?”
