Who doesn’t love a good gif? As The Next Web reports, YouTube is currently testing a new feature that will allow users to create their own gifs straight from videos.

According to the same source, YouTube is putting the gif service to practice on PBS Idea Channel. By hitting the “Share” button underneath the video, users can select the ‘GIF‘ choice. They can navigate through the video and trim a specific part of it, up to 6 seconds. Users can also add text on the upper or lower part of their gif.
Hitting “Create Gif” will provide you with a direct link to your creation and an iframe to embed on your site. Check out ours!
