YouTube wants to help its creators understand their channel stats and to suggest ways for them to grow their channel. The company has now released an update for Creator Studio, adding actionable data insights for creators.
The update, available for iOS and Android users provides actionable data insights. However, it also sends messages to users when something noteworthy takes place on their channel. On one hand it’s meant to help creators understand data; on the other it provides direct advice for them to follow.
Announcing the update, global lead of creator growth at YouTube, Yury Polnar explained,

Announced in a recent blog post, the app will now also give creators access to “education resources”. These will be related to a channels specific needs. YouTube really wants its creators to know how important they are to the platform. As Polnar said,
These latest analytics updates to the Creator Studio app are all part of our continuing efforts to build better tools aimed at helping you grow. And if you still need answers to your YouTube questions, we’ve made it super simple to contact a real person here at YouTube. Following the announcement of increased support for every creator that is part of the YouTube Partner program, we’ve added a new way to email the YouTube support team directly from the app.
