Forced to be offline while riding on the subway, flying, or just out of data? It’s no longer a reason to stay away from Netflix. Starting today, you can now download your favourite shows and watch them offline on your mobile and tablet.
Netflix has become the best new way to watch TV. And now, the company has finally given us what we have always wanted – offline playback. Yes, we can now enjoy Netflix everywhere.
All you have to do is download your favourite show on your mobile device when you’re connected, so you can watch it later – when you’re not (connected).

Only select films and TV shows will be available for offline viewing at first. Netflix has not published a list yet, but it is very likely that all Netflix productions will be available for download, with more of the catalog coming in the future, once licensing arrangements can be agreed with production companies.
For starters, you can already download and enjoy popular shows including Orange is The New Black, The Crown, and Narcos. Offline viewing is available on all mobile devices with Android 4.4.2, or iOS 8.0 and later.
