After coming to an agreement with 20th Century Fox Television, Facebook has added all episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly to Facebook Watch.
If you were/are a fan of the Buffy, Angel, or Firefly series (or all three), you will be happy to know that you can now watch all episodes of either for free on Facebook Watch. If you are not a fan, then you can rejoice to know that “there’s definitely more from where that came from” – meaning that we can rest assured that Facebook will be adding more series shortly.
The addition of the three popular series is a result of Facebook’s recently-signed deal with 20th Century Fox Television, but also comes just a few days after Facebook announced the complete roll-out of its Watch Party video feature last week.
Buffy herself (Sarah Michelle Gellar) announced the news with Facebook Premieres – a new feature on the platform that allows for fans to watch and interact live with the video. The pages for the three aforementioned series will be hosting Watch Parties for their appearance on Facebook Watch.
But it’s not just older series that will be appearing on Facebook Watch. Facebook last month announced that it is bringing back 90s classic “The Real World” sometime in 2019.
