Snapchat users could get their hands on the UEFA Champions League trophy with an exclusive 3D Bitmoji Lens designed for the final.
The 2018 UEFA Champions League final will certainly be remembered through the historic third-in-a-row win of Spanish team Real Madrid. But to us, geeky social media marketers, it also was the first time UEFA invited fans to celebrate with an exclusive 3D Bitmoji Snapchat lens. And yes, that is incredible too.
UEFA collaborated directly with Snapchat to bring to life a 3D Bitmoji Lens that featured a Snapachatter’s 3D avatar playing keepie-uppie as the UEFA Champions League anthem plays in the background. The AR animation continues with the UEFA Champions League trophy being expertly caught by the Snapchatter’s Bitmoji avatar, who then holds the trophy aloft.

Available to over 191 million daily Snapchatters globally on Saturday 26 May, the animation could be placed in the world around you with the Snapchat camera then shared with friends in ‘chat’, posted to ‘stories’, or saved to ‘camera roll’.
