We share more than words and opinions on social media, we also share emotions. Even if we do not always realize it, the way we share online pretty much always shows how we feel at that moment.
Twitter actually looked into this phenomenon, based on specific keywords and key phrases. Now they think they can predict when we will feel a certain way.

Twitter analyzed English tweets from 2013 to find when users tweeted specific words and phrases, including “feel happy,” “feel sad,” “hungover,” and “late to work.” Broken down by month and day of the week, the data visualizations are a window into our collective state, via tweets.
The results are not so surprising as it seems we are mostly sad during winter while summer makes us arrive late at work. Another no-suprise is that Thursdays and Fridays are the days when people will most likely suffer from… hungover!
The good news is probably that people are actually expressing their true selves on twitter!
