Everyone is excited about 360 video. Some brands and artists have created some amazing videos that have already gone viral on YouTube.
However, Turkish Airlines is probably the first brand to have created an advergame (an ad which is also a game) using the technology.
Turkish Airlines asked ArnoBrasco, the Istanbul-based digital agency, to create a campaign to promote Wingo, its new mobile app that announces all promotional flights, and incidentally also the name of the greylag character in the app.
Greylags fly and so does Turkish airlines. So, it made perfect sense that any promotional material should take place in the sky… right? So, ArnoBrasco created #WingoFlies, the first 360 video advergame on YouTube.

The video is set in Cappadocia, one of Turkey’s most beautiful regions. Imagine that you are flying amongst hundreds of hot air balloons, from where you can enjoy the sunrise. But, today you are not there to enjoy the view. You are on the hunt for clues that will allow you to win a free flight.
The video was shot using one drone, and seven GoPros to create a perfect 360 experience. You are invited to look around this magical scenery to find the clues, and form the keyword that will allow you to win. But be quick! The clues will disappear as soon as you find them!
