We have seen advertisers using Tinder for promotion purposes, but there is doubt if they actually paid the app for the implementation. However, it is not difficult to imagine how an ad could work on the dating mini-social network, as users could see an ad unit every 5-10 swipes.
In addition, Tinder is an attractive app for advertisers. The app has a solid database of its users’ demographics and interests – through social login – and, assuming that most of its users are single, there are lots of different businesses that could advertise there; From clothes and restaurants, to beauty products, the opportunities are endless.
