This Tokyo limited edition of the Renault Captur will only be available for pre-order via a Facebook Messenger chatbot.
In honor of the Japanese capital, French car manufacturer Renault is launching a limited-edition SUV. And to get your hands on one of the one hundred available cars, you will have to pre-order it via a Messenger chatbot.
The campaign was launched with a classic anime that tells the story of two men as they journey through a fictional nocturnal Tokyo. They meet a mysterious character who tells them about “a car outside the box.”
Only 100 of the cars have been made and interested buyers will have to interact with this mysterious character via a Facebook Messenger chatbot. To be quite honest, the character reminds us a lot of a traditional car salesman 😂.
The series was animated by Mattero De Longis and the campaign – the first of its kind – was orchestrated by Publicis Italy.
