Puma teased its self-lacing sports shoe at the start of 2019. Now they are looking for volunteers to try it out and offer feedback.
Puma does not want to just launch a cool self-lacing sports shoe. The company aims for “Fi” to become the best self-lacing sports shoe in the market. And for that, it needs feedback from the most important people: customers likes you.
So if you love tech and sneakers, are aged 18 or over and live in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Turkey, Japan, Hong Kong, or India, head over to Puma’s dedicated website and sign up now.
“Fi” is short for “Fit Intelligence.” The self-lacing shoe features a built-in micromotor which can be controlled by touch, via the app or even via your Apple Watch, to tighten or loosen the show. “Fi” is equipped with a “smart sensing capability” that learns from the shape of your foot to adjust and create the perfect fit.
I’m definitely in for this. Prepare to read a lot about the shoe if I’m selected.
