As the Los Angeles Galaxy prepare to honor David Beckham with a statue, James Corden seizes the opportunity to pull a fantastic prank. Watch it, this is gold.
David Beckham is a legend on both sides of the Atlantic. After a fantastic career playing for Manchester United and Real Madrid in Europe, Beckham moved to the MLS and the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2007 where he continued to build his legendary career.
Having retired from professional soccer, the Los Angeles Galaxy wanted to honor its star player with a statue within its home stadium. But days before the official unveiling, TV star and Beckham friend, James Corden prepared an intricate plan to prank him with annoying fans, a highlight reel featuring David’s best and worst moments and a statue that really fails to resemble the star player.
